OUR FOUNDER
Dr. Gary Carr
Dr. Gary Carr introduced the surgical operating microscope to endodontics and founded the Pacific Endodontic Research Foundation (PERF) in 1991. Frustrated by software that did not match how endodontists actually work, he built TDO for his own practice. The platform beta-launched in 1998 and went commercial in 2000. Today, TDO is the Most Widely Used Endodontic PMS, serving practices across six continents. Dr. Carr continues his research at PERF and serves as advisor to TDO.
